Automated shift handover reporting reads operational data from production systems — machine output, downtime records, quality inspection results, maintenance logs, and safety observations — at the end of every shift and generates a structured, consistent handover report automatically. FloorAIM does not rely on supervisors to write narratives or fill in templates. The report is built from actual production data, formatted consistently regardless of who was on shift, and available to the incoming crew before the physical handover takes place. Production vs. target, downtime events, quality holds, equipment issues, and priority actions are all structured and immediately actionable.
Asset utilization in FloorAIM tracks the productive use of equipment and resources relative to available capacity — including scheduled uptime, unplanned downtime, planned maintenance time, and changeover time — presented as a utilization profile by asset, line, and plant. This is a broader operational view than OEE, which is specifically structured around availability, performance, and quality rate.
